Services Held
Private family services and interment were held Tuesday, Aug. 19 in Newton for Beulah G. Porter, 78, a Newton resident since 1982. She had also resided in Denver, Colo., and in California prior to coming to Newton.
The daughter of John and Eva Splint Cozad, she was born January 16, 1908 in Taintor.
Survivors are a son, Richard of Las Vegas, Nev., a daughter, Patricia Alberto of Rt. 1, Monroe; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister, Lulu Adams of Newton; and a brother, Landon Cozad of San Diego, Calif. A niece, Shirley (Mrs. Gene) Buckley of rural Monroe, is also a survivor.
