Services Held
Alfred W. Ponder, 88 of Newton, died Tuesday evening, February 17, 1987 at the Skiff Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Friday at the United Presbyterian Church. Rev. Scott E. Coulter conducted services. Burial was in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Among the survivors is a stepdaughter, Laura M. (Mrs. Albert) Jones of Monroe.
