Mrs. H. C. (Lillian) Payne, wife of a former doctor in Monroe, passed away Thursday in Des Moines. Services were held Monday morning at Dunn’s Funeral home with burial in Pella. She is survived by two daughters, Lillian and Dorothy. She has been making her home at the Calvin Manor in Des Moines.
