Life Story of Mrs. Lucille Passmore
Services for Mrs. Lucille Passmore, 76, of Prairie City, were held Wednesday noon at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial was in the Vandalia Cemetery. The Rev. Harold Caskett officiated.
Mrs. Passmore, the former Lucille Hiemstra, passed away Aug. 31 at the Medicenter of America, Inc., in Des Moines.
Born in Runnells, she lived in Polk County most of her life, moving to Prairie City 14 years ago.
Surviving are a son Walter Passmore of Britt, Iowa, three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Hughes of Irvington, N.J., Mrs. Dena Brady of Des Moines, Mrs. Ada Gates, Sun City, California, and a brother Hubert Hiemstra of Clarion, also four grandchildren and five great grandchildren and other relatives.
