Life Story of Eldon Everett Partin
Eldon Everett Partin, 19, of Kellogg died Friday as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident nine miles west of Ottumwa.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Newton.
Robert Cummings conducted the services. Burial was in Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Dianna) Bennett of LeGrand; and his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Partin of Kellogg.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1958.
Mr. Partin was employed at the Pella Rollscreen Co.
The son of Lynn and Helen Jackson Partin, he was born June 4, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, was educated in Kellogg and Newton schools and was a graduate of New Monroe Community High School.
He had resided in Cedar Rapids before moving to Kellogg five years ago. He was a foster child in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bennett of Reasnor.
