Life Story of Frances Parks
Mrs. Leslie H. (Frances Davis) Parks, 68, of rural Mount Pleasant, a resident of Newton until 1939, died Sunday morning at the Henry County Hospital in Mount Pleasant.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Newton.
The Rev. William Sexton, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, conducted the services. Burial was in Newton Union Cemetery.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Ralph (June) Ramage of Monroe and a brother, Frank Pearson of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband June 26, 1972.
The daughter of Harry and Jessie Davis Pearson, she was born July 14, 1904, in Newton.
She was married to Leslie H. Parks March 26, 1936, in Newton.
Mrs. Parks also had resided in Mountain Home, Ark., Des Moines and Ames.
