Life Story of Mrs. Hattie Palmer
Funeral services were held Thursday for Mrs. Hattie Palmer, 94, who passed away Monday at the hospital in Boone.
She was born March 1, 1878, to Isaac and Harriett Moser Sheeler in Keokuk County.
She was married to John Palmer February 28, 1899, in Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, five sisters, and one grandchild.
Survivors are her daughter, Merle and son-in-law, Ben Price; two grandsons, Ben J. Price, and Rex Price; two great granddaughters; three great grandsons and a great-great-grandchild.
Services were held at the Schrader Funeral Home in Boone with Rev. James Medin of Bethel Church in Boone officiating. Burial was in Monroe Silent City Cemetery.
