Life Story of Charles Padgett
Funeral services for Charles G. Padgett, 85, of Des Moines were held Friday in Crumpacker Funeral Home in Monroe.
Dr. Lawrence Athey, minister of Center Friends Church northeast of Newton, conducted the services.
Mrs. William Lewis provided instrumental music.
Pallbearers were Carl Romans, Sam Romans, Dan Molson, Ed Duncan, Robert Baldwin and Clifford Romans.
Mr. Padgett, who died Tuesday evening in Broadlawns Hospital in Des Moines, is survived by a son in Minnesota.
He was born April 2, 1882 in Georgia.
