Services Held
Ishmeal James Miller, 70, died Saturday, April 14, at his home in Pella.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 18, 1984, at the Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Pella.
Ronald Reeves conducted services. Burial was in the Hewitt Cemetery near Galesburg.
Survivors are his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Thelma Ann Moslander of Running Spring, Calif.; and Betty Lou Nunnikhoven of Weston, Vt.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew. The son of James Martin and Sarah Ann Shelton Miller, he was born March 22, 1914 in Galesburg and was raised and educated in the Galesburg area.
He was married to Dorothy Thelma Elwood May 27, 1934, in Monroe.
He farmed in the Galesburg area for many years before moving to the Monroe area where he farmed for 24 years.
He had resided in Pella the last three months.
