Services Held
Helen Marie Belcher Miller, 69, Prairie City, died Friday noon, Nov. 11, at the Embassy Manor Care Center in Newton.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 15 at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.
The Rev. Neil Busker, pastor of the First Reformed Church in Prairie City conducted services. Burial was in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Survivors are three sons, Walter of Newton, Ronald of Monroe and Glenn of Colfax; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, Earl Belcher of Des Moines; and four sisters, Arline (Mrs. Carl Beason of Evansdale, Georgia Diehm of Grinnell, Mary Mart of Prairie City and Armetta Moose of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Walter, in 1981.
The daughter of Earl and Lulu Belle Tennant Belcher, she was born Feb. 16, 1919 in Grinnell.
She was married to Walter M. Miller Nov. 25, 1935 in Grinnell.
