Life Story of Helen Miller
Helen Elizabeth Pendroy Miller, eldest daughter of Earle and Catherine McNeish Pendroy was born September 16, 1907, near Monroe and passed away June 8 at the age of 66 years, eight months and 22 days.
She attended the Monroe Public School and was graduated in June 1926.
She was united in marriage to Jack Miller December 21, 1946, at Kansas City, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Carroll, Claude, Harold and Mark.
Survivors include her husband, Jack of Des Moines; two brothers, Ralph and James of Monroe; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Mayfield of Omaha, Nebr.; a niece, Marlene Pendroy of Monroe; three nephews, Marvin Pendroy of Monroe; Jack Mayfield of Mundelein, Ill., and Barry Mayfield of Cape Coral, Fla.; and a host of friends.
Funerals services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe with interment in the Monroe Silent City Cemetery.
The Rev. Phil Coe, pastor of the Prairie City Christian Church, conducted the services.
