Services Held
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 13, 1987 at the First Reformed Church in Prairie City for Mary DeGraff Meyers of Prairie City. Rev. Neil Busker, pastor of the church conducted services. Burial was in the Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.
She died Saturday, May 9, 1987 at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
Survivors are a son, Clarence of Pella; a daughter, Emma Jean (Mrs. Laverne) Van Gorp of Reasnor; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chester, three brothers, two sisters and a daughter.
The daughter of John and Carrie Rovaart DeGraff, she was born May 15, 1888 in Leighton.
She was married to Chester M. Meyers, Oct. 30, 1912 in Prairie City.
