Services Saturday
Graveside services for Alberta Meyers will be held Saturday, March 27, 1999, at 2 p.m. at Silent City Cemetery with the Rev. Russell Farrell officiating. The body was cremated. The Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe is handling the arrangements.
Born July 11, 1903, in Monroe, Alberta was the daughter of John and Martha Fouch Sellers. She was a resident of Baxter for the last six years and had also been a longtime resident of Monroe and Marshalltown.
Survivors include a daughter, Delores York of Marshalltown; a daughter-in-law, Velta Meyers of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; five grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lois Sparks of Newton, Wilma Stigge of Des Moines and Helen Ridgeway of Norwalk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a great-grandson, a daughter, a son, two grandsons and two brothers.
