Yella N. Menninga, 75, of Pella, a resident of the Galesburg community until 1972, died March 12 at the Pella Community Hospital.
Funeral services were held Friday at the First Reformed Church in Pella.
The Rev. Richard A. DeJong and the Rev. Peter A. DeJong, pastors of the church, conducted the services. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.
Survivors are his wife, Mary, who resides at the Pella Community Nursing Home; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Dorothy) Van Gorp of rural Pella; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The son of Nicholas and Dirkie Van Houweling Menninga, he was born September 30, 1898, near Galesburg.
He was married to Mary DeHeer January 14, 1920, at Pella.
