Harry Wintersteen Dies in Oregon
Ben F. Wintersteen has received word of the death of his father Harry Wintersteen at Portland, Oregon, which occurred on February 23rd. Mr. Wintersteen left Colfax about 21 years ago and has since lived in the west, visiting here about four years ago with his son. He was about 66 years old at the time of his death. Mr. Wintersteen lived on the farm for many years near Colfax and later was engaged in the blacksmith business in Colfax. Many of the older residents will remember Mr. Wintersteen and learn of his passing with sorrow.
