Services Held
Funeral services for Mrs. R. V. (Alma) McKeever were held Tuesday, August 31, 1982, at the Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville. Burial was in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. She died in the Knoxville Area Community Hospital on Saturday, August 28th.

The Rev. Wayne Hoehns and her nephew, the Rev. Frazer Thomason, conducted the services. Organ music was furnished by a great niece, Jacque Frederiksen.

The daughter of W. O. and Cornelia Vriezelaar Frazer, she was born Sept. 17, 1895 in Galesburg, Iowa. She joined the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Otley at an early age. After moving to Knoxville, she attended the First Methodist Church there.
She was united in marriage to Ren Vance McKeever on Aug. 5, 1921 in Nevada, Iowa.

Survivors include her two children, Betty (Mrs. Forrest) Wilcutt of Knoxville and Gene McKeever of Freeport, Illinois; three grandchildren, two great grandsons, a sister, Mrs. Cassie Rickabaugh of Monroe and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, son-in-law, Forrest Wilcutt, her parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
