Life Story of Mason McDaniel
Mason McDaniel, 49, of Des Moines, a former Monroe resident, died Monday in Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Hamilton-Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines. Graveside rites were held at the Monroe Silent City Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Lois; two daughters, Mrs. Allan Lewis of Des Moines and Mrs. Michelle Blodgett of Des Moines; two grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Floyd McDaniel of Monroe; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Marvel) Wilson of Monroe; and a brother, Ray of Clarence.
Mr. McDaniel was a 1939 graduate of New Monroe Community High School.
