Life Story of Jennie Mateer
Jennie Mateer was born May 7, 1874 and passed away at Johnson Manor at Newton December 30, 1858. She was a daughter of David and Emma Mateer. She was a lifelong resident of Monroe and Jasper county, graduating from Monroe high school. She was a member of the United Presbyterian church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Albert and Edgar, and sister, Minnie Tool. She is survived by a nephew, Earl Tool.
