Services to be Held
Orval Marshall, age 84, passed away December 10, 1991 at the Colonial Manor in Baxter, Iowa. Born February 5, 1907, in Monroe, son of George M. and Dora Waddle Marshall. He grew up and farmed in the Monroe area all of his life. On November 24, 1926, he was united in marriage with Mary Vander Schel. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and Forever Young Club.
He is survived by two sons, Leroy, [of Mingo and Eldon on Monroe; three daughters, Bonnie (Mrs. Wayne) Ryther of Newton,] Patricia (Mrs. Clifford) Simbro of Newton, Norma (Mrs. Walter) Hannam of Indianola; 21 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by an aunt, Grace Keller.
Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 at the Monroe Garden Chapel Funeral Home with Bill McDonald officiating. Burial will be at Silent City Cemetery Monroe.
Memorials will go to Camp Sunnyside.
