Services for Carol J. Malwitz were held Saturday, February 23, 2008, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, Minnesota. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery in Blue Earth, Minnesota.
Carol passed away February 19, 2008, in Blue Earth, Minnesota.
Carol was born November 9, 1932, at Howard, South Dakota, the daughter of Clarence Stock and Edna Rasmussen (Stock).
Carol attended school at Howard, South Dakota. She was married to Leonard A. Malwitz on February 17, 1952, in Howard, South Dakota. Carol was a homemaker for her family and worked at St. Luke’s in the laundry and housekeeping. Carol was known for her bread making and trying new recipes.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard Malwitz of Blue Earth; her sons, Wade Malwitz of Elk River, Craig Malwitz of Columbia Heights, Cling (and Ann) Malwitz of Lake Elmo; her daughters, Janet (and Robert) Doty of Monroe, Iowa, and April (and David) McGaver of Woodbury. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, a brother Maynard (and Pat) Stock of Howard, South Dakota, sisters, Betty (and Louie) Karlan of DeSmet, South Dakota, JoAnn (and Glen) Thompson of Aurora, South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
