Life Story of Rosie Malone
Mrs. Gerald (Rosie) Malone, 43, a resident of Monroe for 19 years, died Tuesday at her home in Monroe.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe.
John Brodene of Monroe conducted the services. Burial was in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband; three sons, Timothy, Jerry and Junior, all at home; a daughter, Barbara Malone at home; her mother, Marie Bonegar of Norwalk, Calif.; a brother Edwin of Laurel; and two sisters, Elizabeth Marshall of Marshalltown and Beulah Ballard of Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Franklin.
The daughter of Ernest and Marie Roberts Ballard, she was born Feb. 9, 1935 in Seymour.
