Services Held
Funeral services for Nettie Belle McCullough LeGrand, 99, was held Friday, January 12, 1990, at the Monroe United Methodist Church.
Rev. Jerry McGee, pastor of the church, conducted services and burial was in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Mrs. LeGrand died Tuesday at the Pella community Nursing Home.
Survivors are a daughter, Marzette (Mrs. Henderson) Reese of Otley; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harrison, two daughters, Lois Jones and Marjorie Sherwood, three brothers, a sister, two grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
The daughter of William and Rozetta Tomlinson McCullough, she was born July 11, 1890 in Manson. She was a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines, receiving a degree in piano.
She was married to Harrison LeGrand March 11, 1915, in Des Moines.
