SERVICES HELD

Funeral services for Robert B. Parsons, 62, Whitefish Bay, Wis., formerly of Kellogg, were held June 15 at the Kellogg United Methodist Church. He died of a heart attack June 13 at the home of his mother Jennie Parsons of Kellogg. Burial was in Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg.

He was born Sept. 24, 1925, in Lamoille and was a 1942 graduate of Kellogg High School. He received undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Iowa and had been a teacher-coach and counselor. He taught five years at Sigourney and in Whitefish Bay for 30 years, retiring last year.

On May 5, 1946, he was married to Wanda Anderson in her parents' home in Kellogg.

He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of the Whitefish Bay United Methodist Church, the Wisconsin Education Association, the National Education Association and the Masonic Lodge.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Wanda; one son Jerry Parsons, Milwaukee, Wis.; two daughters, Vicki Young, Wauwatosa, Wis., and Peggy Parsons, Cedarburg, Wis.; two grandchildren and one brother, Russell Parsons, Newton.
