Services Held
Funeral services were held for Gradus G. Kuiper of Pella Monday, Nov. 18, 1985 at the Third Reformed Church in Pella. Rev. Dr. Delmar D. Thiesse officiated assisted by Rev. Dirk J. Kolenbrander. Interment was in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.
Gradus Kuiper, the son of Gerrit R. and Nellie Klyn Kuiper was born on Feb. 18, 1912 in Marion County west of Pella.
He was united in marriage with Cora Rientje Rouw at the parsonage in Otley and to this union six children were born: Nancy, Arthur, Larry, Harley, Linda and Marcia.
He died Friday, November 15, 1985 at the Pella Community Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Cora; their six children and their families: Nancy and Howard Brummel of Monroe, Bruce Brummel and his wife, Linda of Newton, Bonnie and her husband Gene Lucas of Monroe, Randy Brummel and his wife, Carol of Monroe, Barb and her husband, Steve Elliott of Monroe, Arthur Kuiper and his wife, Marjorie of Pella and children, Larry Kuiper and his wife, Ruth and family of Otley, Harley Kuiper and his wife, Carla and family of Pella, Linda Vander Pol of Long Beach, Miss. and her children, Marcia and her husband, Ron Riggen of Pella and their family. His also survived by his brothers: Ralph and Andrew both of Pella, Dick of Otley and Harry of Pella.
