Services Held
Memorial services were held for Dan Kool of Newton at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 1984, at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home. The Rev. Eldon Pals conducted services. Cremation was held.
He died Nov. 2 at his home in Newton.
Survivors are his wife, Doris; two daughters, nine grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters. Also are two brothers including Laurel Kool of Monroe and two sisters including Mrs. Howard (Marguerite) Young of Monroe.
The son of Arie and Dora Dieleman Kool, he was born March 10, 1907 in Jasper County.
