Fred Koder, 70, Passed Away Friday
Fred Koder, 70, a native of Jasper county who resided on a farm six miles north of Knoxville, died Friday at the Collins hospital at Knoxville.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Van Dyke Duven Funeral Home at Pella.
The Rev. Fred Dietdrich of the Baptist church at Knoxville conducted the services. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery at Pella.
Mr. Koder was born in Jasper county near Monroe.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; two sons, Doyle of Knoxville and Wayne of Tennessee and a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Irene) Dodds of Knoxville.
Also surviving are two brothers, John of Newton and Raymond of Reasnor; and five sisters, Mrs. J. A. McCulloch of Belleview, Neb., Mrs. George Robinson of Newton, Mrs. Arthur Bohnsack of Oskaloosa, Mrs. John Gorman of Belleview, Neb., and Mrs. Stanley Strunce of Belleview.
