Funeral services were held for John E. Knittle on January 22, 1985 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen, Wis. Burial was in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe on Jan. 23.
John E. Knittle died Jan. 19 at Withee, Wis.
John Eutis Knittle was born August 11, 1907, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada to Frank and Alice Knittle. He married Dorothy Langheim July 11, 1931 in Dubuque, Iowa.
Among his survivors are Mrs. Wayne (Anna Mae) Shannon of Monroe, his wife, Dorothy, two sons, two brothers, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother, 2 sisters, 1 grandson and 2 great-grandsons.
