Life Story of Charles Klein
Charles Klein passed away January 23, at the Pella Community Hospital. Funeral services were held on Jan. 27 with Rev. Armand R. Renskers officiating. Burial was in the Oakwood cemetery.
Charles G., son of Gerritt T. H. and Jan Van Bentum Klein was born March 20, 1901 near Monroe. He attended West Silver Grove and Pella Schools. On July 10, 1926, he was united in marriage to RenaMarie Juline. Their entire married life was spent in Pella where he served for over 40 years in the Postal service and rural mail carrier.
His parents, wife and an infant daughter, Nancy Ann, preceded him in death, also two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude DeReus and Mrs. Sarah Vriezelaar, and four brothers, Tunis G., Anthony, John G. and Edward.
He was a member of the Second Reformed Church in Pella.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Wallace Kooyman, Moline, Ill., Mrs. Donald Andrews, Pella, Mrs. Warren Kincaid, Amarillo, Texas, 8 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, also three brothers, Arthur of Pella, Gradus of Dayton, Ohio, and Henry of New Sharon.
