Services Held
Funeral services for Mrs. Floyd (Margaret) Kingery, 66, of Monroe were held Friday, October 19, 1984 at the Monroe United Methodist Church.
Dr. Otto Steele, Jr. pastor conducted services. Burial was in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
She died Wednesday, October 17, at the Pella Community Hospital.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, La Verne of Monroe and Herbert of Lubbock, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. James (Joan) Hewitt of Monroe; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her mother, Jessie Banks of Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers and a sister.
The daughter of Guy and Jessie Thomasson Banks, she was born Oct. 7, 1918 in Warren County.
She was married Oct. 6, 1937 in Newton.
