Life Story of Frank Kingery
Frank Kingery, 97, lifelong resident of Marion and Jasper counties, died Saturday evening in Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Services were held Tuesday in Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville.
Burial was in Dunreath Cemetery.
Surviving are five sons, Nathan and Fred of Knoxville, John of Batavia, James of Newton and Earnest of Monroe; three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Schrader, Mrs. Alex (Vera) Hopkins of Knoxville and Mrs. Orval (Blanche) Carter of Des Moines; 39 grandchildren, 107 great grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren.

Life Story of Frank Kingery
Frank Kingery, son of Samuel and Catherine (Harris) Kingery, was born August 7, 1871 in Marion County and passed away at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines the evening of March 1, at the age of 97 years, six months and 22 days.
He was united in marriage to Priscilla Jane Clark December 25, 1894.
To this union were born nine children. He was preceded in death by his wife and one son, Ora Carl. He is survived by eight children, Nathan, Mrs. Cecil Schrader and Mrs. Alex (Vera) Hopkins, all of Knoxville, Fred of Pershing, John of Batavia, Jim of Newton, Ernest of Monroe, and Mrs. Orval (Blanche) Carter of Des Moines; 39 grandchildren; 107 great-grandchildren; 27 great great-grandchildren.
A native and lifetime resident of Marion and Jasper counties, he was active in farming until 1938.
He leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
