Monroe, IA – Victor Keller, 66, of Monroe, retired from the Maytag Co. in Newton, died of cardiac and respiratory ailments. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Silent City Cemetery.
Mr. Keller was born in Monroe. He was a member of American Legion, Moose Lodge in Newton, United Auto Workers Union and the Elks Club in Knoxville.
Survivors include his wife, Estel; a daughter, Betty Karr of Monroe; three sons, Jerry of Minneapolis, Minn., Bob of Monroe and Ben of Newton; his mother, Grace Keller of Monroe; 14 grandchildren; a step-grandchild; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Victor E. Keller were held April 23, 1986 at the Monroe United Methodist Church. Rev. Gerald McGee officiated. Interment in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. Graveside Military Rites by Fred Slayden Post #363 American Legion of Monroe.
Victor E. Keller, age 66, passed away on April 20, 1986 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
He was born near Monroe, in Marion County on June 5, 1919, the son of Ben and Grace Waddle Keller. He was united in marriage to Estel Reed on Jan. 5, 1946 at York, Nebraska.
Surviving are his wife Estel, his mother Grace of Monroe, a daughter Betty Karr of Monroe and 3 sons Jerry of Minneapolis, Minn., Bob of Monroe and Ben of Newton, 14 grandchildren, a step grandchild and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, a son Dennis and a grandson Jerry Lee Keller.
