Services Held
William Roy Karr, 88, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 1988 at Clearview Manor Nursing Home in Prairie City. Graveside services were held Nov. 7, 1988 at Silent City Cemetery, Monroe, with Elder Arthur Nichols conducting services.
He is survived by one son, Bill of Monroe, one brother, Clyde of Monroe, 3 granddaughters, and 6 great-grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.
On April 5, 1925 he was united in marriage to Grace Cronkhite in Pella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a sister, and one great-grandson.
Memorials can be made to the Ambulance Equipment Fund, Monroe, Iowa.
