Eunice Kathryn Foreman Kaster, 79, of Lakeland, Minnesota, died April 19, 1995, at the Christian Community Care Center in Hudson, Wisconsin.
A memorial service was held Sunday, April 23, 1995, at the St. Croix Valley United Methodist Church, Lakeland, Minnesota, with Rev. John Darlington officiating.
Eunice Kaster was born September 7, 1915, in Marion County, the daughter of Clyde C. and Jeanette O. Danks Foreman. She married Harold V. Kaster in Des Moines January 17, 1937.
A graduate of Monroe High School, class of 1943, she attended Central College, and earned her Masters Degree at Drake University. She took intensive Reading Disability training under Dr. Carl H. Delacato on the Doman Delacato System in the Chestnut Hill Section of Philadelphia.
She was a retired Special Education teacher of the Doman Delacato Therapy System at Amherst Wilder Foundation for many years.
A member of St. Croix Valley United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and gave the Sermonette for children, she had sung in church choirs for 50 years.
Surviving are her husband Harold, sons Ron and Lee, daughters-in-law Carolyn and Judith; grandchildren Dana, Adam and Aimee Kaster; Sarah and Ross Broeker; a great granddaughter Trista; a sister Mila and husband Wain Sloan of Fairfield, and a brother Tom and wife Lola of Red Wing, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Ruth Foreman.
Interment was in St. Croix Valley United Methodist Church Memorial Garden, Lakeland, Minnesota.
A memorial has been established to her church.
