Wayne Kenneth Anderson, age 80, of Holland, Michigan, passed away April 3, 2010. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at the Cook Memorial Chapel in Grandville. Interment was at Georgetown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Grand Rapids theological Seminary.
Wayne graduated from Iowa State University and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and served as pastor in three different churches. He served as the pastor of Monroe’s First Baptist Church from 1965 to 1973.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Evangeline Anderson; children, Becky (Gene) Schnuckel, Kristine (Stephen) Holman, and Joseph (Lori) Anderson; grandchildren, David Schnuckel, Eric (Jen) Schnuckel, Anne Holman, Elisabeth Holman, Julie Holman, Karen Holman, Katie Anderson, and Ben Anderson, 3 great grandsons; and many friends.
