Graveside rites for Margaret Anderson, 87, of Stanton, Nebraska, were held Wednesday morning, November 11, 1987, at the Newton Union Cemetery in Newton, Iowa.
Born in Newton, she was the daughter of David and Agnes Brown McAllister.
Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Leland Anderson, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Jean) Vranicar of Stanton, and several grandchildren.
The Andersons were former Monroe residents, Dr. Anderson practiced dentistry in Monroe from 1927 to 1940 when he became a professor in the College of Dentistry at the University of Iowa.
