Mrs. G. Acklin, 92, Dies; Rites To Be In Monroe

Mrs. George (Hester) Acklin, long–time resident of Jasper county, passed away at her home here at 4:30 yesterday afternoon, at the age of 92. Death resulted from the infirmities of old age.

Mrs. Acklin was united in marriage with George Acklin March 31, 1883, who preceded her in death on March 30, 1940.

She is survived by the following children: Dave Acklin of Mountain View, Mo., Ben Acklin of Newton, and Ethel Koons of Des Moines; also seven grandchildren and nine great–grandchildren.

Burial will be at Monroe, Iowa
