Nada Allspach, 86, of Newton died on Friday, December 25, 2015, at her home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 31, 2015, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials in Nada’s name may be left at the funeral home.

Nada was born on October 16, 1929 on a farm in Jasper County, Iowa and attended Newton schools. She worked for Davis Advertising in Newton, the Maytag Company in Newton, Hugh’s Aircraft in California, Dunlap Manufacturing in Newton, and Pyramid Inc. in Newton, retiring in 1991. Nada was a member of the Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Church and was baptized on September 14, 1997. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the VFW Post 1655. On September 10, 1988, Nada was united in marriage with Marvin Allspach.

Those left to honor Nada’s memory are her two sisters, Marvel Jones and Kay Sneller; her brother, Mike Trotter; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gertrude (Van Baale) Trotter; husband, Marvin; three sisters, Marvis Vaughn, Marna Beach, and Ruth Harger; a sister-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and two other husbands. ~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa 25 Dec 2015.
