Garry Goodman, 47, of Newton died on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. A celebration of his life will be held from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.

Garry, was born to biological parents Richard and Rebecca (McBride) Goodman, on April 15, 1968 in Ames, Iowa. Following his mother’s death Garry and his brother, Bill, were raised by their Godparents, Garry and Kay Wion. Garry graduated from Newton High School in the class of 1986. He enjoyed his paper route delivering the Newton Daily News to rural customers and also liked to go fishing and tinker with things.

Garry is survived by his brothers, Bill (Julie) Goodman of Newton and Eric (Debbie) Wion of Woodbury, Minnesota and his father, Garry Wion of Walker, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Kay Wion and biological parents, Dick and Rebecca Goodman. ~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa 25 Nov 2015.
