Carl Buckalew Services to Be On Saturday

REASNOR - Funeral services for Carl Buckalew, 57, of Reasnor will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton.

The Rev. Robert Cooper of Des Moines will conduct services. Burial will be in the Chariton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society will be accepted.

Survivors are his wife, Louise; three daughters, Mrs. Harold Brown of Reasnor, Mrs. Dean Tibbs of st. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Darrel Ver Heul of Monroe; eight grandchildren; his mother, Winnie Buckalew of Williamson; and two brothers, Melvin and Robert, both of Williamson.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Buckalew was employed at the Embassy Manor in Newton.

The son of Robert and Winnie Rouse Buckalew, he was born Nov. 14, 1920 at Liberty Center.
