Dora Depping Rites Thursday

BAXTER - Dora Depping, 67, of rural Melbourne, a lifelong resident of the Baxter and Melbourne communities, died Monday at the University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Bethany United Church of Christ, east of Baxter.

Pastor Harold Behle, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Bethany Church Cemetery.

Boyd-Nickell Funeral Home in Baxter is handling arrangements.

Survivors are three brothers, John of Melbourne, Oscar of Reinbeck and August of Baxter; and two sisters, Mrs. George (Elsie) Klaas of Melbourne and Beatrice Depping of Melbourne.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sisters.

Miss Depping was a member of the Bethany United Church of Christ and the Women's Fellowship.

The daughter of Ernest and Bertha Dee Depping, she was born July 13, 1910, at Baxter and attended Baxter area schools. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Tues 21 Mar 1978.
