Pearle Sipe, 80, Services Are Conducted Today

MONROE - Funeral services for Mrs. H. Clark (Pearle) Sipe, 80, of Clear View Manor in Prairie City, a longtime resident of Monroe, were held today at the First Baptist Church in Monroe. Burial was in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.

Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe is handling arrangements.

Survivors are a brother, Ulrie Clevenger of Prairie City; and a sister, Mrs. George (Merle) Waddle of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mr. 1, 1977, two brothers and a sister.

Mrs. Sipe, a licensed practical nurse, was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Monroe Women's Club.

The daughter of Clint and Mary Wilson Clevenger, she was born Mar. 29, 1897 at Monroe and was graduated from Monroe Community High School.

She was married June 10, 1922 at Monroe.

She died Friday at the Clear View Manor in Monroe. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Mon 27 Feb 1978.
