Lola Van Zante Dies on Tuesday; Rites Thursday

MONROE - Mrs. Jacob T. (Lola) Van Zante, 92, of Hilltop Manor in Pella, a former resident of the Monroe Community, died Tuesday at the Pella Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella.

The Rev. Ronald E. Cowles, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Pella, will conduct services. burial will be in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.

Memorial contributions to the Hilltop Manor will be accepted.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. James (Mary Viretta) Wisse of Pella.

She was preceded in death by her husband July 10, 1960, her parents, two sons, a sister and two brothers.

Mrs. Van Zante was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pella.

The daughter of William and Viretta Koder Mullins, she was born Aug. 25, 1885 in Marion County.
