Charlotte Ingraham Dies on Tuesday; Services Thursday

Colfax - Mrs. Alex (Charlotte) Ingraham, 72, a resident of Colfax since 1959 died Monday evening in Colfax.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.

The Rev. Robert Jones, pastor of the Christian Church in Colfax, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.

Survivors are a son, Marvin M. of Creston; two daughters, Mrs. Carroll (Betty) Fales of Newton and Mrs. Roger (Margaret) Sharp of Sioux City; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Earl Mitchell and Ben Mitchell, both of Grinnell, Frank Mitchell of Phoenix, Ariz., and J. W. Mitchell of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sa son, and her husband Dec. 7, 11977.

Mrs. Ingraham was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Newton and the Pythians Sister Delta Lodge No. 77.

The daughter of E. A. and Charlotte Thompson Mitchell, she was sborn June 12, 1905 in Lynnville.

She was married April 8, 1924 at Newton. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Wed 8 Feb 1978
