Former Resident, Doice Raber, Dies

Doice D. Raber of Stuart, a former resident of Newton, died Tuesday at the Guthrie Center Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are pending.

Among survivors are a daughter, Fern Raber Hopkins of Newton and a sister, Gaylie Godwin, also of Newton.

Mr. Raber, a former employee of the Maytag Co., farmed in the Newton area for many years before moving to Stuart.

He was married to the former Alice McKinney, who preceded him in death. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa 1978.
