Nadine McCreery Dies on Tuesday; Services Thursday

Mrs. Nadine McCreery, 79, of Newton died Tuesday at the Embassy Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Newman Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will be in the Able Cemetery in rural Oskaloosa.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. William (Helen) Briggs, with whom Mrs. McCreery made her home, Mrs. Opal Martin and Mrs. Willard (Mildred) Martin, both of Oskaloosa and Mrs. Rich (Margaret) Edwards of Knoxville; nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sile Alderman, she was born April 7, 1898 in Keokuk County. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Wed 15 Feb 1987.
