Theo Miller Dies Today; Rites in Newton, Moravia

Theo A. Miller, 85, of Heritage Manor, a resident of Newton since 1973, died this morning at the Heritage Manor Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home and at 1 p.m. Friday at the Grace United Methodist Church in Moravia.

The Rev. Ray Barnett, pastor of the Newton First Christian Church will conduct services. Burial will be in Moravia Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials to Camp Sunny-side (Easter Seal Society) may be left at the funeral home.

Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Francis C. and Mary Miller of Newton; three grandchildren, Ray F. Miller of Mason City, Susan Miller of Newton and Mrs. John A.(Jane) Blink of Marshalltown; four great-grandsons, Mark and Alan Miller of Mason City and Shawn and Chad Blink of Marshalltown, a nephew and niece in Iowa and 10 nephews and nieces in Wyoming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Merle, in December, 1970; two brothers, Charles E. and Clarence E., two sisters, Blanche Miller and Lena Miller Pence and a grandchild, Theo Jay Miller. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Tues 25 Apr 1978.
