Newton Woman's Brother Dies

BONDURANT - Clifford J. Corrough, 73, of Laguna Hills, Calif., brother of Mrs. C. Ray Jones of Newton and a former Bondurant resident, died Saturday at Saddleback Community Hospital in Laguna Hills.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Christian Church in Bondurant.

The Rev. John Bolen, pastor of the church, will conduct services, Masonic rites will be conducted during the services. Burial will be in the Bondurant Cemetery.

Moffitt Funeral Home in Altoona is handling arrangements.

Also surviving are his wife; a son; three grandchildren; and another sister, Mrs. J. Everett Payne of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Corrough, former Newton residents, and a brother. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Mon 6 Feb 1978.
