W. J. McCullough, Former Newton Resident, Dies

Funeral services for William J. McCullough of Forsyth, Mo., a former resident of Newton, were held recently at the Welchel Funeral Chapel in Branson, Mo. Burial was in the Ozarks Memorial Park in Branson.

Survivors are his wife, LeOra; a brother, Richard E. McCullough of Lake City; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Shanklin and Mrs. Pauline Cole, both of Lake City.

The son of Harry J. and Delilah Mae McCullough, he was born Jan. 12, 1898 at Lake City.

He was married to LeOra Schnell Aug. 28, 1923 in Newton. ~ Newspaper unknown, possibly The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa Wed 1 Feb 1978.
