JOHN H TOOL--Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb 15, at the Reasnor Methodist church for John H. Tool, 87, who died Friday at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Vaughn with the Rev. J. E. McClellan in charge.

Pallbearers were Carrol and Marvin Tool, Bert Wood, Gerald Berkenbosh, James Marshall and Horace Oldham. John H. Tool, son of James A. and Sarah Tool, was born May 23, 1854, on a farm 4 miles east of Monroe. In 1875 he was married to Rebecca C. Wood who preceded him in death Feb 5, 1931. Mr. Tool was a life-long member of the Methodist church of Tool's Chapel which was founded by his father. Surviving relatives are 4 children, George A. and Clarence of near Reasnor; Bernice Tool and Mrs. Vaughn, 3 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. Also one brother, Henry Tool of Iowa City and 2 sisters Mrs. Belle Marshall and Flora Tool of Monroe.
