SERVICES HELD

Services for Gary L. Suplee were held Monday, September 29, 2003, at the Monroe Presbyterian Church. Rev. Ann Rouse, Pastor, officiated the services. Cremation was followed by interment at Silent City Cemetery.

Gary passed away September 25, 2003, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Born April 4, 1939, Gary was the son of Bert and Ellen Blakely Suplee. He was a graduate of Des Moines Technical High School. He lived in Monroe for 40 years.

June 26, 1960, he married Carolyn Kay Rexroat in Monroe. He had worked at Van Gorp Manufacturing in Pella and was a member of the Monroe Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are one son and daughter-in-law, David and Sandy Suplee of Otley, one daughter and son-in-law. Lisa and Chris Tool of Monroe; and 6 grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Karen Rankin of Des Moines, Linda and John Malloy of Des Moines, and Kathy Wallway of Des Moines.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
